Stillwell Spa

You won’t want to miss out on a treatment at the Stillwell Spa. Relax after a hard day of skiing with a soak in the private Grotto, refresh with an oxygen treatment, pamper yourself with a beauty treatment at the salon, or stretch out by attending a yoga class. For the ultimate indulgence, spring for a body treatment, such as the Couples Retreat side-by-side massage that uses custom techniques and aromatherapy to meet both of your specific needs. During this treatment, the therapist will focus on stretching, massage, relaxation and rejuvenation. For skin renewal, try the Luxe and Beauty Signature Facial to restore the architecture of the face by utilizing potent nutrients in plant actives. Need to recover from an epic day on the slopes? Sign up for the High Altitude Recovery treatment or the Boots Off Massage. There is also a fitness facility with cardio and weights equipment.

Winter Activities at Snowpine Lodge

Winter is the high season at Alta, with downhill skiing, heli skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and more. The lodge is located on the slopes of Alta Ski Resort. The resort is skiing only, no snowboarding allowed. Alta has six lifts and 118 runs. It is known for deep powder skiing and mountain traverses to gain access to skiing challenging chutes.

One of the best features of Snowpine Lodge is the on-property ski rentals and retail store through Powder House Ski Rentals. The staff makes it fast and convenient to hit the slopes with all the gear you’ll need, advice on terrain, recommendations on equipment, ski tuning, and more. They also sell souvenirs to take home from your trip. Want to use your own skis? Take advantage of Shipskis to have your skis delivered directly to the hotel.

The lodge also includes ski lockers that make it easy to get on and off the mountain, as well as a private ski lift that goes directly to Snowpine. And don’t miss out on the fresh cookies available as you return at the end of the day.
