Space-Saving Cabins at YOTEL Boston

The hotel has mostly small rooms (or “cabins” as they call them) that maximize every square inch of space with clever amenities. The smallest room size is 152 square feet. The rooms come with gel memory foam Adjustable SmartBed that lets guests sit up (comfortably to get some work done (from bed) and provides more space. The bed adjusts flat with the press of a button. There are plenty of USB and power sockets to keep your phone and laptop charged. There is not a closet, but a rack or two for hanging clothes and bags in the bedroom and bathroom. Suitcases easily slide under the bed for storage. There are plenty of nooks for storing various items.

I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to fit a hairdryer and iron/ironing board in the small space. There is a VIP King Suite with a King size bed, Queen size sofa bed, and can accommodate a single roll-away bed – great for families.

I don’t mid the small rooms, they are actually kind of cool and make you realize that you don’t need all the extra space. Because of the size of the rooms, many guests mingle in the lobby and rooftop lounge. A small room does not necessarily mean a small price tag because of the innovative features. Prices can range from $194-$645. Depending on the season and availability, rates can fluctuate. You can save by joining the Club@YOTEL.

YOTELs worldwide are known innovation and fun technological features. In the cabins, guests can connect their devices to the Smart TV, take advantage of keyless entry via a smart phone, and enjoy the in-room adjustable mood lighting (kids will love this). You can choose from a rang of lighting colors and have it rotate slowly, quickly or stay the same. Guests can easily check in or out via the lobby kiosks.
