The Key to Something Special

While staying at The Wayfarer DTLA, you’ll notice the employees wearing keys around their necks. The hotel partnered with The Giving Keys company to give each employee a key when they are hired. Each key is inscribed with one of these words: Believe, create, dream, faith, fearless, hope, inspire, love, or strength. The employees are told to get to know their customer and if they meet someone who embodies the word on their key, they give it to them. Proceeds from the sale of the keys supports job creation for individuals transitioning out of homelessness in the L.A. area.
