The hotel is also dog-friendly, so you don’t have to leave your pooch at home (there’s even an off-leash Dog Beach and Top Dog Barkery at Pacific City sells treats and toys).

Enjoy dining anytime of day at the on-property Tanner’s Huntington, which specializes in coastal cuisine and offers menu items such as Wood Grilled Brioche French Toast with Nutella, Grilled Strawberries, Honey Mustard Butter, Bourbon Aged Maple Syrup ($15), Pistachio and Red Curry Crusted Salmon with Cumin Vinaigrette, Fennel and Citrus Slaw, Avocado Butter, Coconut Forbidden Black Rice ($28) and the Chocolate Mousse Bomb with Salted Caramel, Almond Praline, and Bourbon Vanilla Gelato ($10). Guest can watch the chefs at work behind a glass-walled exhibition kitchen. The open concept design with industrial fixtures makes the restaurant casual, but edgy.
After dinner, adults can head to the Treehouse Bar, located on the roof of the second floor, to indulge in a cocktail under the impressive “tree” while listening to live music and gazing out at the Pacific Ocean. For breakfast, a midday glass of wine, or snacks on-the-go, guests can swing by Blend Cafe.
Aarna Spa at Pasea Hotel & Spa
The on-property Aarna Spa is a 5,800-square-foot full-service facility that has all the amenities for an indulge day of relaxation, including eight treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge with water, nuts, and dried fruit, a coed outdoor patio with lounge chairs, cabanas and fountain and fire pit, separate men’s and women’s areas that feature a sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and a salt water whirlpool. Types of treatments offered include massage, skincare, body treatments (the Sea Stone Massage utilizes heated volcanic stones for deep relaxation), and hair and nail services. The facility also includes a boutique featuring ESPA products used during treatments, as well as a variety of other health and wellness items, and a full fitness center with an outdoor yoga area.

You won’t want to leave Huntington Beach without taking a stroll along the Pier, picking up a new swimsuit or souvenir at the local surf shops on Main Street (also the location of the Surfing Walk of Fame), or visiting the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum and the Surfer’s Hall of Fame.
